Students looking to network and gain volunteer or work experience this year are in luck! Mount Royal University is hosting its annual volunteer fair this month on October 29th. Students can attend the fair by visiting the foyers of the Wright and Leacock theatres between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
What the Volunteer Fair offers to students.
The Volunteer Fair is an annual event hosted by Mount Royal University.
The Volunteer Fair offers students the opportunity to connect with Non-Profit and community organizations that are looking for volunteers. The Fair does this by allowing Non-profits and community organizations to register and set up their exhibits and information booths on campus.
Students can often face struggles when looking for work experience. Bringing the work experience to the Mount Royal Campus allows students to expand their workforce connections, as well as practice their networking skills.
The Fair also creates the potential opportunity for students to gain confidence when searching for job opportunities and experiences in the future.
What the Volunteer Fair offers to Exhibitors.
The Volunteer Fair allows Community organizations and Nonprofits to register and come to Mount Royal University in an effort to find volunteers.
The Fair gives exhibitors the opportunity to increase the awareness of their brand and organization amongst the Mount Royal student community. As well as sourcing individuals with relevant skills from all the Programs Mount Royal has to offer.
Students and potential exhibitors interested in registering for the Volunteer Fair can visit the MRU Career Services Fairs and Events page
