The mruGradU8 website provides an in-depth layout of all graduation requirements for MRU students with many different sub-sections.
Students at MRU have access to many of their academic needs through mymru.ca. By navigating to the “My Program” section, students can scroll down to the subsections and view their transcripts, student academic profiles, course schedule and much more that is beneficial to students’ academic convenience.
How to know if you’re on track to graduate?
The “my program” section also offers a tool titled mruGradU8, which tracks the student’s program progress and identifies what they’ve have currently completed and what is still needed in order to fulfill their graduation requirements. Upon accessing the site, student information such as name, GPA, and degree requirements are presented where it states the minimum credits required and how much more credits are needed to reach that requirement. A major benefit of mruGradU8 is that it separates the student’s degree, general education, and minor (if being taken) requirements, making it very simple to assess the gaps. A legend is also shown at the bottom which highlights symbols for courses that are:
- Complete (green check)
- Not complete (red circle)
- Complete – with classes in-progress (half filled blue circle)
- Nearly complete (brown circle with exclamation point)
- Any course number (@ symbol)
