The 2026 Grammy Nominees have been revealed by the recording academy.

Kendrick Lamar leads the way with nine nominations spanning across several categories. He is followed close behind by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut who all have seven. Other prominent names with multiple nominations include Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Tunstile, SZA and Tyler the Creator.

Lamar is looking to top his historic tally of six Grammys from the 2025 award show. These nominations take Kendrick Lamar’s tally up to 22 career grammy wins and 66 nominations. Kendricks latest album GNX is now his fifth consecutive album to be nominated for album of the year. This makes him the first solo artist to do so in the recording academy’s history. If he does win then it will be the third rap album in history to win in the category. Lauryn Hill was the first in 1999 with her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill while Outkast became the second for their album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

Lady Gaga will be looking to add to her 14 Grammys. Lady Gaga has seven nominations this year which is a massive improvement from her singular one last time out. With more nominations she will likely want to improve on her 2025 Grammy win with the hit song Die With A Smile.

The Band Turnstile have been rewarded for their versatility, receiving nominations for metal, rock and alternative categories. Tyler the Creator released two albums and received recognition for both. His work on the album Chromakopia won him three rap nominations while his other release Don’t Tap the Glass earned him a nod for Best Alternative Music Album.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Crypto.com Arena in L.A. The show will be broadcast live on Paramount+ and CBS.
