Different ways to store your bicycle on campus
Riding your bicycle to campus is a great way to help the planet and get a quick workout in, but where do you store it while you are on campus? There are multiple locations for your bicycle around campus: The multiple bike racks, the Wyckham bike shelter on the west end, the heated bicycle storage room of the Riddell Library and the bicycle lockers outside of the library. These locations can be viewed on this interactive map.
Rates and availability
The bike racks available around campus are on a first come first serve basis everyday, and can be used by anyone biking to campus. Bear in mind that you need to provide your own lock. PedalPod Bike Lockers are available for rent for a 12 month period( typically from the start of July to the end of June the following year) for $144. The Riddell Library offers underground bicycle storage and change rooms for the same 12 month period for $144. They also offer a daily rate of $30, but it does not give you access to the change rooms.
Other useful information
If you need to patch a hole or refill your tires with air, the Parking and Transportation Office has a basic bicycle repair kit free of charge to students and staff with a ONECard. Calgary Transit also allows bicycles at all times on the CTrain with some bicycle storage available on certain CTrain stations.
